Michael was born in New Jersey and moved to Georgia when he was 2 years old. After High School he served six years in the Marine Corps reserve. Michael went on to attend Gwinett Technical College and has been in veterinary medicine since 1995. He became a registered Veterinary Technician in 2001. Michael joined East Marietta Animal Hospital in 2008 and is our Head Veterinary nurse. His experience with animals has covered everything from lizards, birds and snakes to puppies and kittens. Michael lives on a small farm with his wife. They have 4 horses, 5 chickens, a cat and a pit bull named Lillian. On any given day you will hear his name being called many times to help in all areas of the hospital. His duties can include client education, drawing blood, anesthesia, dental hygienist, radiography, pre-surgical preparation, vaccinations and restraining patients just to name a few. Michael and his wife enjoy competitive target shooting, off road trail riding, and traveling.
